Essential Qualification of Manipur University Recruitment 2021:
- 1 Controller of Examinations
- Master’s Degree with a least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration
- Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other Institutions of higher education, OR
- The age of superannuation shall be 62 (sixty-two) years.
- 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an_equivalent post
- Age Limit: 57 years
- 2 Finance Officer
- Master’s Degree with a least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

- An eminent scholar having a PhD degree in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2. of (UGC REGULATIONS ON MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS AND OTHER ACADEMIC STAFF IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES AND OTHER MEASURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION, 2018)
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at the equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate. OR B. An outstanding professional, having a PhD degree in the relevant/ allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years experience.

- An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with ten years of experience in post-graduate teaching, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at the doctoral level;
- In exceptional cases, teachers with 15 years of undergraduate teaching/research experience can also be considered; OR An outstanding scholar with an established reputation who has made a significant contribution to knowledge;
And Three years of experience in Educational Administration. - Age Limit: 55 years
- 5 Director, EMMRC
- A Masters Degree in any subject with a consistently good academic record.
- About ten years of regular service in Media or Mass Communication especially Television, as Producer/Director or Engineer or Researcher or Administrator with emphasis on the ability for software development, visualization and conceptualization of programmes and their development.
- Good communication skills to involve University Academics in ETV Production and
- Leadership qualities to manage Media Technical and Administrative staff and to coordinate production activity with Academic persons. The candidate will have to show/demonstrate software developed by him/her when called for an interview.
- OR An outstanding scholar with an established reputation who has made a significant contribution to knowledge in the area of Mass Media (Television)
- Desirable Qualification :
- Knowledge and experience in computers & ICT
- Knowledge and experience in developing e-content material and use in higher Education
- Knowledge and experience in developing online MOOCs Courses and administering. (In case a suitable person in the above grade is not found. the University may appoint a person in the next lower grade. Also, in the case of exceptionally qualified candidates in the area of educational TV/Film production, the qualifications and age may be relaxed).

- 6 Principal Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT)
- Ph. D. Degree and First Class are equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
- At least two successful PhD guided as supervisor/Co-Supervisor and a minimum of 8 research publications SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor. Notes: I. This position shall be contractual in nature for 5 years and can be extended for one more term depending upon the performance. 2. Perthnnance assessment shall be carried out through a committee appointed by the affiliating university 3. After completing the final term, the incumbent shall join back his/her parent organisation in the previous designation from where he/she has proceeded with the designation as Professor/Senior Professor as the case may be.

- The selected candidate shall be governed by the New Pension Scheme of the Govt. of India. as the case may be, duly extended by UGC.
- The selected candidate shall be liable to serve anywhere within the jurisdiction of the University.
- Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications along with the prescribed application fee. Only those online applications who submit the hard copy printout along with necessary documents and Bank Draft will be considered.
