An advertisement has been released by the Indian Postal Department for recruitment to the posts of Skilled Artisan under Mail Motor Service, Kolkata. The trades in which 19 Skilled Artisans have been declared by the department include 19 vacancies in motor vehicle mechanic, motor vehicle electrician, blacksmith, fireman, painter, upholsterer, carpenter and joiner. Candidates wishing to apply for these posts can submit the application within 60 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in employment news.
According to the recruitment advertisement issued by the department, the posts of Skilled Artisan are to be recruited on regular basis under Pay Matrix Level 2 (ie Pay Band-1 5200-20200 and Grade Pay 1900). Also, the department is expected not to apply to such candidates who applied for these posts relative to the advertisement recently released in the employment news dated 15-21 September 2018 by the department.
